James Speer
Practitioner of the work of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, D.Sc., for Movement Education

"The work of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais is a body-centered self-discovery process using movement. The goal of this hands-on biomechanical therapy is for someone to develop a greater organization for bodily movement. As a Functional Movement Education Therapist, using my hands-on tactical feedback, I help to expand a client's kinesthetic, or bodily, awareness of themselves. By a person encompassing more of themselves, vis-a-vis, a greater self-image, often times, pain or discomfort is eliminated."

After a 10-year successful career with Eastman Kodak Co. as a mechanical engineer, in 1994, James completed the 4-year Professional Training Program for Movement Re-education in the work of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais. He has twice presented Functional Movement Education for the International Association of Fitness Professionals at their World Fitness Expo & Conventions. James treats all patients having neurological or orthopedic conditions, improving their mobility and action, to achieve what they want in life.
